Terms & Conditions – AB Cruiser

1. Booking Window:
   For scheduled morning and evening cruise tours, the seat booking window remains open only for the next 15 days from the date of enquiry.

2. Infants:
   Infants (up to 2 years of age) are allowed onboard free of cost.

3. Group/Party/Puja Reservations:
   Group, party, puja, or meeting bookings will be confirmed only after a 50% advance payment. The remaining 50% must be paid 30 days prior to the cruise date. Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation, and standard cancellation policies will apply.

4. No Show & Seat Allocation:
   In case of no-show at the reporting time at Alaknanda Jetty, AB Cruiser reserves the right to reissue or reallocate the seats. For overall convenience, seat arrangements may be reallocated at the discretion of the management.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy:

   • Before 48 Hours: 75% of the amount will be refunded.

   • Within 48 Hours: No refund will be provided (100% cancellation charges apply).

6. Rescheduling Policy:

   • Rescheduling may be allowed up to 7 days before the cruise date in rare and unavoidable circumstances.

   • A 25% rescheduling charge applies.

   • Approval of rescheduling is at the sole discretion of AB Cruiser and depends on date availability. No explanation is required if rescheduling is denied.

7. Cruise Itinerary Changes:
   All cruise schedules are subject to change without notice due to river conditions, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen factors. The captain and cruise managers have full authority to make operational decisions in the interest of passenger safety and experience.

8. Passenger Conduct & Cleanliness:

   • Passengers must not insist on speeding up or stopping the vessel at any location not nominated in the itinerary.

   • Consumption of alcohol or smoking onboard is strictly prohibited.

   • The vessel must be kept clean. Any form of damage, littering, or indecent activity is strictly forbidden.

   • Waste must be disposed of only in designated bins. The vessel is a No Plastic Zone.

9. Passenger Safety:

   • Parents/guardians must ensure that children are always accompanied and away from railings.

   • Elderly passengers must be assisted and taken care of by their companions.

10. Liability & Damages:

    • AB Cruiser is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the cruise.

    • The company is not responsible for injury, illness, or death unless caused by proven negligence or willful fault.

    • Emotional or psychological damages are not covered unless linked directly to physical harm or intentional misconduct by cruise personnel.

    • In no case shall AB Cruiser be held liable for consequential or punitive damages.

11. Vessel Withdrawal:

    • The vessel may be withdrawn at any time due to government regulations or emergencies. In such cases, a full refund will be provided without additional compensation.

12. Embarkation/Disembarkation:

    • Jetty location may change at short notice due to police instructions or unavoidable circumstances.

    • The vessel will be available at the jetty 30 minutes prior to the boarding time and a 30-minute grace period will be provided for disembarkation.

13. Jurisdiction:
    All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Varanasi courts only.
